I first heard Joshua Straub speak while taking the DVD-based Teens and Families in Crisis course offered by House of Hope Rhode Island to volunteers. Since then, Joshua Straub has become one of my favorite writers and speakers on Christian parenting and marriage. He speaks and writes with authority, wisdom, and compassion on topics of interest to both parents and youth ministers. His wife, Christi, also writes for his website.

Watch Joshua’s promo video to hear him speak on the impact of technology on our lives:

Are you controlled by technology? Check out “What My iPhone Stole From Me” by Christi Straub. Christi came to the sad realization that she had become controlled by her iPhone, and was missing out on the precious and fleeting moments that should define life with our family and friends. The blog post includes a “Screen Balance Test” to see how technology is impacting your life and the life of your family.

If you want weekly encouragement and tips on marriage and family, subscribe to Joshua’s newsletter “Marriage and Parenting in the 21st Century.” You can also follow him on Facebook and Twitter, as well as other social media platforms, for regular and consistent updates and advice.

So, who is Joshua Straub?
