Proven Model

House of Hope RI is affiliated with National House of Hope and uses a proven model, which has produced a high rate of completion nationwide. Responsibility is earned and tested as the teens work through multiple phases. Upon completion of a two-week orientation, the teen moves into a three-phase program that rewards better choices during an average stay of 8-15 months.

Family Environment

Your teen will live with staff members and other residents in a beautifully restored home, where he or she will be treated like a family member. We provide 24-hour on-site staff supervision.

On-Campus Education

Residents attend Hope Academy, an on-site school taught by a licensed teacher.
Classroom instruction meets all educational requirements of the State of Rhode Island; your teen can even earn his or her high school diploma if entering the program as a senior. Credits are transferable. Field trips are scheduled to provide hands-on learning and opportunities for teens to serve their community.

Parenting Support

Parents participate in family and individual counseling sessions designed to heal fractured relationships. As a parent, you are expected to be fully engaged in the process and attend scheduled counseling sessions as well as parenting classes where you can find more help and support.

Outpatient Counseling

For boys and girls not requiring residential care, there is outpatient counseling based on the same family-centered approach.

Affordable, Available

All services are offered on a sliding scale fee. No one is ever turned away because of finances.
